  • Bravo School of Art 2963 Beech Street San Diego, CA 92102 United States (map)

SEA & SAND

Instructor Marjorie Pezzoli

Learn simple techniques and enjoy the flow of color across an 8” x 54” Silk Satin Scarf blank. Direct color mixing, painting and salt application on the scarf blank creates spontaneous textures. San Diego is all about enjoying the ocean and summer fun. This is one of Marjorie’s favorite themes, and one of her most popular designs. Learn how to work with three colors to produce a beautiful scarf. This luxurious fabric is what most people associate with the word “Silk”. Receive easy heat setting, care instruction, and a reference handout. All supplies will be provided. Please wear painting clothes or your apron. Happen to be vacationing in our sunny state? This makes a great memento for your trip.

$5 per student will be donated to World Central Kitchen, a great non-profit organization that, in response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, is currently providing meals in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Slovakia.

$30 Bravo member / $39 non-member + $25 Supplies fee
