This class is designed for people who have never painted or made a collage, as well as those want to try new ideas and methods. Collage refers to a process where art is created from a combination of disparate images and elements. Build an interesting 2-dimensional surface with texture, color, shape, pattern, and more as your animal emerges. Before diving into the creative process, see a quick demonstration of some inspiring techniques. Easy to follow, you will be guided and encouraged along as you create your collage while building confidence and skill. The creative process is meditative and many people find it very uplifting and even healing. Choose from provided images or create your own. Canvas boards, paint, glue, brushes, magazines, and colored tissue paper are provided.
